We can’t help but be reminded of Oakley’s similar bluetooth sunglasses. Putting that aside, these Trispecs Sunglasses look promising. They are a pair of “designer” sunglasses that also work as wireless stereo headphones and a bluetooth headset. They feature noise elimination acoustic technology, dual microphones and dual speakers. The sunglasses are available in a variety of features, styles and colors - including female specific versions. Yay!

You’ve probably heard of Eye-fi, they were the first to come out with wireless SD cards that let you transfer pictures from your digicam to your computer over wifi. Now Eye-fi cards will also be able to wirelessly upload video to YouTube - including HD videos. HD is becoming a must since even many ultracompact cameras are sporting HD video capabilities. Eye-fi will be exhibiting their new video upload service at this year’s CES.

We knew the successor to the popular P2 was coming, so it wasn’t much of a surprise today that Samsung announced the P3. At just .39 inches, the P3 sports a 3-inch WQVGA TFT-LCD touch screen which will let you enjoy widescreen videos at a 16:9 aspect ratio without letterboxing. It also feature Samsung’s upgraded with EmoTure touch interface with true haptic feedback. That incldues the ability to make cool gestures like “wiping a finger across the screen, to switching audio tracks, to holding down a digital button for fast-forwarding video.” The P3 also features DNS3 3.0 sound enhancement tech, an FM radio, voice recorder, photo album, as well as the ability to pair with a bluetooth phone and answer calls directly through the player. The P3 will be available in in the first half of 2009 in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32 GB storage capacities.

Mirrors that double as Televisions have actually been around for a while, even if they have been few and far in between. Fortunately the new HiddenReflections Television Mirror is looking especially futuristic and is the kind of product we like to think CES is all about. The HiddenReflections line-up consists of four conveniently-sized finely-crafted mirrors with built-in and hidden 17 LCD HDTVs. When the LCD is turned off, the HiddenReflections Television Mirrorworks like a regular mirror. The TV also sports discreet MB Quart speakers. Although not specifically designed for the bathroom - you can place this Mirror TV anywhere in the house, but the HiddenReflections TV Mirrors all include handheld waterproof remote controls. The TVs also feature A/V inputs and all the necessary mounting hardware is included. The following mirror sizes are available: 24 W x 36 H, 36 W x 36 H, 48 W x 36 H and 60 W x 36 H.

JVC has announced five new TeleDock series that are ready to combine two of your favorite things - your TV and your iPod. The new series includes the the 32-inch class LT-32P300, the 42-inch class LT-42P300, the 46-inch class LT-46P300, and two Clear Motion Drive models the 42-inch class LT-42P500 and the 46-inch class LT-46P500. Each model features a neat flip-down ipod dock at the base of the set so that you can playback photos and music stored on your iPod via your TV. You can control your iPod via the system’s remote control and the system also doubles as an iPod charger even when the TV is off. The TVs themselves sport a pretty impressive feature set including full 1080p HD, digital noise reduction, and three HDMI ports. The TVs will be available in April.

New TeleDock series offers enhanced iPod compatibility.

LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2009 JVC TeleDock LCD televisions, the first to offer an integrated iPod dock, are all-new for 2009 and feature enhanced iPod compatibility and more versatility. The new line includes five models, including two that feature JVCs 120Hz Clear Motion Drive III technology, offering a powerful combination of performance and convenience.

The new five-model JVC TeleDock series is comprised of the 32-inch class LT-32P300 (31.5-inch diagonal), the 42-inch class LT-42P300 (42-inch diagonal), the 46-inch class LT-46P300 (45.9-inch diagonal), and the two Clear Motion Drive models the 42-inch class LT-42P500 (42-inch diagonal) and the 46-inch class LT-46P500 (45.9-inch diagonal).

For 2009, JVC TeleDock televisions offer significantly improved iPod compatibility. Each model includes a flip-down iPod dock at the base of the set, providing a direct connection for playback through the TV. Video files are easily played back on the television, music files can be played through the TVs sound system, and photos stored on an iPod can be viewed on the TV. The docked iPod can be controlled from the TVs remote, which includes a circular keypad with a control scheme that mimics the iPods control wheel. In addition, the iPod charges while docked whether the TVs power is on or off.

When an iPod is docked, a menu appears on the TV screen. Second generation TeleDock sets display a comprehensive iPod-like menu that allows selection of music or video playback and also supports music search. During video playback, low resolution files, such as internet videos, can be displayed in a small screen mode. Higher resolution video can be shown in nine aspect modes at full screen.

For 2009, the TeleDock line offers the following enhancements:

• During music playback, song title, artist, album and genre are all displayed on the TV screen;
• With a PC connected to the TV (by PC and USB and HDMI (or D-Sub) connections ), iTunes can be displayed on the TV and synched with the docked iPod;
• When a PC is connected to a TeleDock TV, powering up the PC will automatically power-up the television;
• Music stored on the iPod can be played through the TV while watching TV programming, and the TV program or other video source can be changed while the music is playing; in addition, the sound can be swapped between the iPod and the TV program sound;
• With music playing from the iPod, photos stored on the iPod or photos stored on an external device connected to the sets USB port can be viewed on the TV;
• During video playback, pushing the Display button will display on-screen the video title

Besides the iPod dock and playback features, JVCs new P-Series LCD TVs are full HD (1920 x 1080), full featured high definition displays. Highlights include digital noise reduction, dynamic backlight and 1080 24p/30p output. Each features a universal remote with direct input access, a side-mounted USB photo viewer, and ATSC/QAM tuning.

Connections include three HDMI inputs, two component inputs, two S-video inputs, PC input (D-sub) and an analog video output.

The sound package delivers 10 watts per channel to a pair of JVCs exclusive oblique cone speakers.

All five models feature a gloss black finish including the base and a new light diffuser front illumination. The P300 models radiate blue light while the P500 series models feature a white light radiating from the front panel. The diffuser is made of frosted acrylic and distributes the light across the bottom panel of the sets. The illumination is dimmable and defeatable in the menu.
