There is two things I love when it comes to a purse: Patent leather and Satchels. I’ve never been one into shoulder bags, so every time I see a swanky new satchel that just hit the shelves I’m pretty much in love most of the time. Chlo has never been a designer brand that I want into. I always saw Chlo handbags as not attractive and way overpriced but the See by Chlo ‘Daytripper’ Satchel in Cherry is making me drool from cheek to cheek. The zip top closure, calfskin patent leather, and the detachable shoulder strap is really making my heart swoon over this handbag. There are even two zip top closure pockets in the front making in convenient to carry more everyday girl essentials.

Usually Chlo handbag prices are out of this world. They can range anywhere in the thousands. Luckily, for the handbag loving girls the See by Chlo handbags are actually quite affordable without hitting that thousand mark. See by Chlo ‘Daytripper’ Satchel has a price tag of $695, which is not bad at all for a Chlo handbag. The ‘Daytripper’ also comes in a Tote if you think the Satchel is too small for you. Satchel or Tote you can’t go wrong with either See by Chlo ‘Daytripper’ handbags.

Vintage Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Steamer Trunk
So everyday I walk past this boutique called Polite Society, never really stop in, more of just stare out of the corner of my eye as I walk by. They usually have really amazing window displays set up. I remember last winter they had this Louis Vuitton Trunk on display in their window, which I thought was just a display item and not for sale. Well, turns out it is, and it’s still available.

So anyway, finally about 2 weeks ago I finally stepped foot in the Polite Society. Im not just saying this, but this is my newest favorite store. (and being one block away from the BB office is dangerously close.) They have gorgeous clothes and amazing one-of-a-kind home dcor items. When I was there, I picked up a Helmut Lang little black dress, which at first I was hesitant on the fit, but then the lovely lady working there convinced me, thats the fit of the dress so then I purchased it.. yeah, Im an easy shopper. Also while there, I spotted the authentic LV trunk (Appraisal papers and authentication papers from the Louis Vuitton company included), still there, in excellent condition, neatly on display in the back corner of the store by the changing rooms.

Priced at $9850. And guess what ladies and guys, you dont have travel all the way to Emerald City to get this rare piece (however if you do want to, I of course recommend it), visit shoppolitesociety.com.

Ps. If you are in the Downtown Belltown Seattle area, this is the newest boutiques to carry Rebecca Minkoff! Not many other downtown shops carry this designer. Oh and they also got tons of cute new fall clothes in for both men and women!

Free People Fringe Benefits Bag
I know I have said this before, but I just love Free People stuff. In case you don’t already know, their specialty is the Boho-chic look. I absolutely love their clothes! But what about their accessories? And, in particular, their handbags? To me, it seems like it is sort of hit and miss in this area. For example, does anyone remember the Chubby Change Purses (Read about them here: Free People Chubby Change Purses)? They were so adorable! It’s great stuff like these coin purses that make you wonder how a bag, like the one you see here, could have possibly come from the same designer. Introducing the Free People Fringe Benefits Bag. It appears as though Free People has jumped on the Fringe Bandwagon. Unfortunately for Free People (and everyone else out there that has come out with a fringe bag recently), fringe is never going to come back into style. Face it guys, there is only one place where fringe belongs — in the past!

The Free People Fringe Benefits Bag is constructed of ultra soft suede. It is available in Navy (as shown). The front of the bag features fringe and braided detail. The bag measures 12″ x 14″ and the strap is 17″ in length. It retails for $268.
