Speaking of NARS limited edition products - did you know that Al Gore was in the beauty business?

Well, he is.  Sort of. 

NARS Essential Oil-Infused Therapy Soak is an essential oil-infused therapy soak that contains a blend of Hawaiian Alaea salts and Tahitian tiare oil.   Of course, it's eco-chic.  It's packaged in a reusable fabric bag and box made of at least 50% post-consumer recycled materials.  Considering it's exotic origin, the price tag is steep, even for NARS at $120.00.   But it may make you feel better to know that NARS donates 100% of the net proceeds to Al Gore's The Climate Project which means that you can detoxify and help the environment at the same time.

One of my long time favorites, NARS Body Glow has been paired in a limited edition set with NARS Monoi Body Glow II.  This is great news for me because now I have an excuse to try the Body Glow II, which I have been passing up since the primary ingredient,  Monoi de Tahiti oil, is present in the original formula.  If you have not yet tried NARS Body Glow (think chocolate shimmer, coconut and vanilla essence) now is the time to give yourself a treat - especially if you want to play up your tan or your already amazing natural bronze-like skintone.

There is a set available in the normal size - a great deal for regular users, but the mini set is a nice deal and should go a long way if you don't overdo it.

Florabunda Tots is a brand new children's clothing line by one of my favorite authors, Veronica Chambers.  The line was named after Veronica's daughter Flora and the clothes are handmade by her mother, Cecilia Ortega.  Afrobella and I are both sad to see Veronica end her column at The Root.com, but we are both thrilled to see her new line of clothing (I think I'll send a few things Tia Williams way!)
